About me
Mary Kaczorek practices consumer law with Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid (MMLA). Mary started her public interest legal career in college with Central Minnesota Legal Services in St. Cloud. Mary earned her JD at the University of Minnesota Law School in 2009 and worked with MMLA’s seniors, public benefits, and litigation teams during and after law school. Mary worked for the Department of Employment and Economic Development in St. Paul as an unemployment law judge from 2010 to 2013. Mary came back to Legal Aid as supervising attorney of Legal Services State Support in St. Paul, and then moved to MMLA’s Minneapolis housing team in 2018. Mary has been doing homeownership work with MMLA’s consumer team since October 2023. Mary likes to garden, travel, bake, and spend time with her family and dog Lotte.
