About me
Sarah Moore has been an attorney with Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota for over 20 years. She currently serves as the Managing Attorney for LSNM’s Alexandria Office and as Lead Housing Attorney for the program. In her career at LSNM, Sarah has focused primarily on representing clients in family law and housing matters but has also provided representation to clients in a variety of other civil legal issues. She has represented clients in administrative hearings, housing courts, district courts, and the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
In addition to managing a large caseload, Sarah provides mentorship to new attorneys and serves on LSNM’s Leadership Team. Sarah frequently speaks to community groups and provides legal education and training on housing law, family law, and other general legal rights. She previously served for many years on the Board of Directors for a regional domestic violence agency and is active in the Douglas County Bar Association.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology and Law Studies from Marquette University and her Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law.
